The Plamuttu Kottaram, another double storied residential structure is located between the Vepinmuttu Kottaram and Thai Kottaram.  The main entrance into this building is on the southern side opening into a long room with a stairway located in the south west corner. This stairway leads to a series of interconnected living spaces. One of the rooms is seen to have a wooden bed.  
Plamuttu Kottaram is connected to the adjacent Thai Kottaram and Uparika Malika through connecting bridges on the first floor. Whilst on the ground floor, the yard and tulasi tara are shared open spaces between the Plamuttu and Vepinmuttu Kottaram.
